Honduras 2008

My oldest son Josh and I went on a missions trip in July 2008. It was the best experience in the world. We learned a lot about what it is to not have anything. we stayed on an orphanage compound for seven days. In the picture we are visiting the school in the compound.Give some feedback on what YOU see in the picture. I will also take questions about the trip. I am going to try to share a slide show if I can get Mrs. Sims to help me. Have a great day/week.

  2. What a great experience! I think our students could learn a lot from this trip. Could we incorporate an assignment into this post? :)

  3. Okay, Mrs. S. It's time for another blogging lesson. I think you need to add a gadget or change your template.

Regarding Mrs. Smith's comment above, you could do this: Have them pick one person from the picture and write a story about what that person is thinking. Or a story about a day in the life of that person. Or two of the people could have a conversation about what happened that day with those crazy people who came to visit. Or have them pick an OBJECT from the room and have them write a story from the viewpoint of the object. Does that help?
